     I return to the live model for spontaneous inspiration.  These smaller studies that I call my "Gesture Sketches" originate  while working with a nude model.   Rather than drawing on paper, I cut directly into sculpture wax.  Studying the pose produces a more literal exploration of the figure.
     Two sculptures, Study of Laura I and II are cast as limited edition copies of 12.  Patina color choices are gold, antique green or burgundy.
