Pricing reflects artist's time invested during creation, current foundry costs (based on scale, weight, complexity of labor), and market value set by Art Dealers after 45 years of sales.  The whole process is hard, arduous work and very time consuming - so it has to be a labor of love.  Artist gladly accepts payment plans. However, occasional works do go on sale in order to help pay for the costs of larger works in progress.
